At Classic Transport, high standards and exceptional customer service have been at the heart of the business since its founding in 1993. From the beginning, the company has been built on a strong foundation of integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
What started with a small, skilled team quickly grew to more than 30 employees and over 600 owner/operators. From day one, Classic Transport has embraced a “can-do” attitude, welcoming challenges and taking smart risks while remaining focused on providing exceptional service to its customers.
In January 2016, longtime business partners Dan Groulx and Duane Schlabach purchased Classic Transport, with Dan serving as CEO and Duane as President. In January 2017, seasoned managers Jodi Schieber, Dennis Pontius, and Adam Warner joined the ownership group, further strengthening the company’s leadership team and supporting Classic Transport’s continued growth and success.
As the company continued to evolve, leadership responsibilities expanded. As of September 2019, Jodi Schieber serves as President, Dennis Pontius as Vice President, and Adam Warner as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dan Groulx continues to serve as CEO, providing strategic leadership and guidance for the company.
Duane Schlabach now serves as a member of the Board of Directors, continuing to provide his experience, insight, and leadership as Classic Transport looks toward the future.
Together, the leadership team continues to build on Classic Transport’s strong foundation while maintaining the company’s commitment to integrity, teamwork, innovation, and exceptional customer service.
